The number we quote is the number we hold. It moves only when you change the scope, or when we open a wall and document a condition that has to be corrected. Both are priced in writing and approved before work continues.
Milestone payments
A payment schedule tied to stages you can stand in front of and see. Never large sums up front. You always know what has been done, what is next, and what the next stage costs before it starts.
Written warranty
Workmanship warranted in writing. Manufacturer warranties on materials, fixtures and appliances are documented and handed to you at handover, not left in a box in the garage.
Insurance claims
For restoration we photograph and log everything, take moisture readings on a schedule, deal with your adjuster directly, and bill the insurer where coverage applies.
Financing and warranty questions
01Does YAREX offer financing?
No. YAREX does not sell or arrange financing. The fixed, itemized estimate is the document a bank or HELOC lender asks for, and payment is staged against milestones written into the contract — never a large sum up front.
02What does the YAREX warranty cover?
Workmanship on our renovations is warranted in writing, and manufacturer warranties on materials, fixtures and appliances pass to you with documentation at handover. Emergency restoration work follows the scope agreed with your insurer.
03Will insurance cover my water, mold or fire restoration?
Often, yes. Sudden and accidental damage such as a burst pipe or a fire is typically covered by home insurance. Gradual leaks and deferred maintenance often are not. We document damage thoroughly, work directly with your adjuster, and bill the insurer where coverage applies.
04Is HST included in your estimates?
Estimates itemize HST separately so you always see the real total. Substantially renovated homes can qualify for an HST new-housing rebate in Ontario — we flag it when your project might be eligible.
05How do payments work?
